Graduate AI Engineer - Contract Location: North East of England
Salary: £25,000 - £28,000
Initial 3 - 6 Month Contract
CY Partners is excited to be recruiting on behalf of our client for a Contract Graduate AI Engineer. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated graduate with a solid background in Artificial Intelligence or Machine Learning to join a dynamic team that specialise in innovative applications of artificial intelligence, with a focus on computer vision and automatic imagine analysis.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design, development, and implementation of computer vision algorithms and models.
- Work with large datasets to train and optimise AI models for image recognition and analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver solutions.
- Conduct research to stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI and computer vision technologies.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and quality assurance processes to ensure high-performance solutions.
- Support the deployment and integration of AI models into software applications.
Role Requirements:
- A recently obtained degree (BSc, MSc, or PhD) in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of machine learning principles, particularly in computer vision techniques.
- Experience with programming languages such as Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or OpenCV.
- Familiarity with deep learning frameworks and architectures (CNNs, RNNs, etc.).
- Knowledge of data preprocessing, image augmentation, and feature extraction techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
- Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn and grow.
