Location: Newcastle

Salary: Up to 55,000

Job Description: As an ECI Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of electrical, control, and instrumentation systems for subsea equipment. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and developing electrical schematics and layouts for subsea systems.
  • Selecting appropriate control and instrumentation components to meet project specifications.
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of ECI systems.
  • Conducting testing and validation of ECI systems to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Providing technical support during the installation and commissioning phases.
  • Ensuring all designs adhere to health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Skills & Experience: To be successful in this ECI Engineer role, you should have:

  • A degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in designing electrical, control, and instrumentation systems, preferably within the subsea or offshore industry.
  • Proficiency in using design software such as AutoCAD or EPLAN.
  • Strong understanding of industry standards and regulations related to ECI systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
